How much does it cost to seal a driveway?
The price depends on the size of the driveway, how many cracks need filling, any patching, and how much cleaning and edging it needs. We price every job on a free on-site visit, so request a free quote and we'll email you an exact price.

Does Premium Sealing do only driveways?

1. Do I need a permit for a driveway sealcoating? This answer depends on the specific location and local regulations. However, in general, permits are not typically required for driveway sealcoating projects. However, it's always best to check with your local municipality or building department to confirm. 2. How often should I sealcoat my driveway? For optimal protection, we recommend sealcoating your driveway every 2-3 years. This frequency can vary depending on factors like weather conditions, traffic volume, and the initial quality of the asphalt. 3. What are the signs my driveway needs sealcoating? There are several signs: visible cracks, a faded and dull appearance, or a rough, uneven texture. If you notice any of these, it's a good time to consider sealcoating. 4. Can I sealcoat my driveway myself? While some people attempt DIY sealcoating, it's often recommended to hire a professional. We use specialized equipment and high-quality materials to ensure a proper application for long-lasting results. 5. How long will it take to sealcoat my driveway? The timeframe depends on the size of your driveway and drying conditions. Typically, a standard driveway can be sealed in a single day. 6. How soon can I walk or drive on my driveway after it's sealed? Stay off the driveway until it is dry and our crew releases it. Keep cars off for at least 72 hours, and longer in cool, humid or shaded conditions. Trucks, trailers and other heavy vehicles may need longer, because they put more force on the fresh coat. For the first two weeks, don’t turn the steering wheel while the car is standing still. We'll provide specific instructions after the service. 7. Will sealcoating hide existing cracks in my driveway? Sealcoating offers a protective layer, but it won't completely hide cracks. For larger cracks, we recommend crack repair prior to sealcoating to prevent further damage. 8. How much does driveway sealcoating cost? The cost depends on the size of your driveway and the specific products used. Contact us today for a free quote! 9. What if it rains after sealing? We schedule every job around the forecast, because fresh sealer has to be protected from rain while it cures. If rain does mark the fresh sealer, call us. It’s covered by our warranty, and we’ll come back and touch it up. 10. How late in the year can you seal? It depends on the temperature and the forecast, not a set date on the calendar. Our sealing season runs from late March or April through October or November. If you’re hoping to get in late in the season, request a quote early and we’ll tell you what’s possible. 11. Is crack filling included in driveway sealing? It’s quoted separately when your driveway needs it. Many driveways do, and we’ll show you where on the site visit. 12. Do you do ADA striping and parking lot layout changes? Yes. We stripe ADA and handicap spaces, and we can change a lot’s layout when it’s restriped, such as moving stalls or adding accessible spaces. 13. Can you work nights or weekends on commercial lots? Yes. Nights and weekends are possible for commercial lots, and we schedule the work around your tenants and business hours. We’ll tell you which parts of the job can be done after hours. 14. Do you fix sunken pavers? Yes, and we fix the cause. We dig out the sunken area, rebuild and compact the base, then reset the pavers, rather than just adding sand under them.
